| Abstract | There has been a resurgence of tuberculosis (TB) in a number of countries. The World Health Organisation (WHO) in 1993 declared TB as a global emergency and called for international collaboration to step up TB control measures. In Hong Kong where TB is endemic, the Government has carried out rigorous control and preventive measures. This article talks about the situation in Hong Kong, its control and preventive measures to the disease. |
