Abstract | Like the gold, silver and bronze medals dangling from their necks,Hong Kong's paralympians are glistening examples of the determination and sheer hard work which puts them in a class of their own. And while the outstanding achievements of the Hong Kong team's 18 members did the entire territory proud, the performances of eight athletes in particular held a special significance for the civil service. For these 'exceptional eight' are all Government servants - serving the community daily at work while serving as examples of excellence in the community itself. |
