| Abstract | Many old buildings have found 'official refuge' with the Antiquities and Monuments Office, which is tasked to protect Hong Kong's architectural and archaeological heritage. Some have been preserved as museums; others restored to their former glory. One has been reincarnated as a restaurant. In this article, some preserved old buildings and monuments are introduced. |
