| Abstract | The Hong Kong press and media have undergone a spectacular evolution in the last few months and are becoming more and more aware of the looming shadow of 1997. In the field of "China-watching" no periodical has played a more important role than Zhengming, which was founded in November 1977. At this crucial time for the Hong Kong press, we thought it would be appropriate to interview the director and editor of Zhengming, Wan Fai (Wen Hui in Mandarin), whose professional experience covers half a century, and who is one of the most outstanding figures in Hong Kong journalism. |
