| Abstract | A family physician has much to offer to patients with pemphigus vulgaris. He should have good clinical acuity to suspect the disease and should insist to confirm the diagnosis before treatment. He should employ the basic principles of general internal medicine to initiate and monitor treatment. He should know his limitations and call upon the expertise of specialist colleagues, in order to offer continuous high quality care to his patients and their families. |
