| Abstract | In China, the total output value of silk fabrics in 1995 was 30.9 billion Yuan, down 10.3%; exports of silk textile goods were worth US$3,118 million, down 16.9%. In Jiangsu, the most important silk textile producing province in China, the losses of state-run silk textile enterprises totalled 260 million Yuan, up 175%. |
