Abstract | Hong Kong 4As chairman and managing director of Leo Burnett Allen Chichester said that 1997 would be, at worst, another flat year for the advertising industry, but remained quietly confident there would be an uptick starting with the mid-year handover. Hong Kong Independent Advertising Agencies chairman Rodney Tam said he expected the average increment among HiA member agencies would be eight to 10 per cent. However, Mr Tam said more agencies were moving towards stable salaries linked to incentive schemes, based on business performance, individual performance and loyalty. |
