| Abstract | To speed up the construction of China's financial data network and promote the development of a national economy based on information, the China Financial Data Network Company was set up under the joint sponsorship of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the People's Bank of China. Contract on the establishment of the company was signed on 21 June 1996 in Beijing. With the fast growth of banking services which need to be processed,to establish a powerful and modern computer system for the central bank to exercise macro control has become a strategic task in the restructuring of China's banking system. |
