| Abstract | Arrangement will be made for various commercial banks to join hands with PT department in the construction of a national telecom backbone network for financial sector based on both wireless and land communications systems which will serve as supplement and stand-by for each other. High-speed financial information collection and transmission system of the People's Bank of China (PBC) will continue to be improved. The high-speed system will be made available to all county-level branches in the Ninth Five-Year Plan period (1996-2000). |
