| Abstract | Mr. Duan Xiaoxing, Deputy Governor of the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), pointed out that construction of computer network has become the focal point in the competitions among banking institutions. He added that construction of ABC's national computer network is an important task in the Ninth Five-Year Plan period (1996-2000) involving computerized information system. To ensure the completion of a national network on schedule, construction of the network will have to be speeded up in the two years after 1996. |
