| Abstract | Jilin province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region have respectively set up 11 and 10 expanded local telephone networks with telephone numbers elevated to seven digits. In 1995, all counties of Jilin had access to SPC switching equipment with a capacity exceeding 10,000 lines and 85% of the villages in the province enjoyed SPC telephone service while long haul transmission had been digitized. |
