| Abstract | Francesca Chan, a teacher with 11 years' experience, teaches Form One to Form Four English at Ko Lui Secondary School (KLSS). She thinks that students should have a good grasp of their first language before they learn a second one. Moreover, skills learned in Chinese, such as how to write a good composition, can be transferred to English. In this article, principal, teachers and students of KLSS express their opinions on language teaching. |
