| Abstract | This article brings up the history of Hong Kong's noise pollution problem and the way Hong Kong Government combats it. Besides being empowered by law to carry out its task, the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) reinforces its effort to combat environmental pollution by inviting the participation of the very people who are directly responsible for creating Hong Kong's built-environment-architects, engineers, contractors and property developers. |
