| Abstract | Modern scholars studying traditional Chinese architecture often question about the presence of any proportion and standards similar to its counterpart in the west. Whereas most agreed that there is some kind of standard and rule, no one is able to define clearly the real proportions and numbers. According to Feng Shui theory, the real answer laid on ancient Chinese concept of numbers which is quite different from the modern interpretation. A basic understanding of Chinese numerology can give insight into the answer. |
