| Abstract | To scholars and students interested in traditional Chinese architecture and city planning, the layout of Ming & Ching Beijing is an often studied subject. These are much documented papers on the historical, geographical and physical planning aspects of the once Imperial Capital. This article attempts to analyse the "metaphysical" planning of dynastic Beijing based on the knowledge of Chinese Geomancy or Fung Shui as its often called. |
