| Abstract | The Foreign Trade Department of China announced in May 1995 a new set of regulations for auctioning of all export quota by open bids. Since the most important type of export quota is the textile quota, these regulations will receive close scrutiny from textile enterprises, both domestic and foreign-funded. |
