| Abstract | The textile industry of Shanxi province could not be classified as advanced or important compared with that of other major textile producing provinces, yet it is quite diversified and comprises cotton and woollen mills, knitting, yarn-dyed weaving, printing and dyeing, MMF production, silk and bast textiles, clothing and textile machinery, besides a few textile educational institutes. The problems that the Shanxi textile industry is facing are discussed in this article. |
