| Abstract | China's technology in fabric printing and dyeing has been steadily improved. However, by international standards the printing and dyeing plants in China are still technologically backward and uncompetitive. Of the equipment and machines installed in the printing and dyeing plants, 70% are of 1970s standard, and only 6% up to international standard. Competition among fabric printing and dyeing plants is very severe, resulting in price-cutting and poor profits. |
