| Abstract | Information released at a recent meeting of the provincial silk fabrics enterprises in Jiangsu province shows the situation of output and demand in silk fabrics remaining unchanged and the stockpiled spring cocoons requiring urgent handling. In late February of 1996, the stockpile of spring cocoons in this province totalled over 10300 tonnes, and it is imperative that processing work would start soon to prevent the stock lots from deteriorating in quality. |
