AbstractIn the international world of music Chinese composers are no longer unknown or ignored. They travel abroad and their music is performed. Perhaps the best known is Tan Dun, who now lives in New York City. But Tan is not the only Chinese mover and shaker in the international music world. Hong Kong - born Josef Fung, a successful composer and classical guitarist for the last 11 years on the Western concert circuit, is also making waves.
