| Abstract | In Hong Kong, clinical microbiologists are a rare species, existing only in large hospitals. Many clinicians are either unware of their existence, or merely associate them with laboratory technicians or managers. In this paper, the authors attempt to introduce and document the role and contributions of clinical microbiologists by reviewing their daily routine service. |
