| Abstract | The Quarantine and Prevention of Disease Ordinance (Cap.141) and its subsidiary legislation provide a legislative framework for the prevention and control of communicable diseases of public health importance. Owing to changes in the epidemiology of communicable diseases and the revision of International Health Regulations by the World Health Organization, this Ordinance and its subsidiary legislation have been revised. The amended Ordinance came into effect in March 1994. |
