| Abstract | The Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) has taken a major step towards better-equipping elite athletes for their lives after sport. A decision has been made to completely restructure the Athlete Education & Development Department with more trained staff being hired to look after the career and education needs of athletes. In April 1995, the Department was renamed the Athlete Affairs Department which the HKSI believes more accurately relects its role. |
