AbstractRegional equities markets performed unevenly in 1995, with Thailand faring badly. The economic slowdown in Europe, and the unwillingness of the Fed to reduce US interest rates, sluggish property markets and a slowdown in international trade all combined to keep the regional equities markets depressed for most of the year.
