| Abstract | The backdrop in the reception area of AT&T Capital Corp. (HK) Ltd cries out for attention. Made from glass that has been deliberately fractured to create a crazed effect, the designer has overlaid this pattern with both an abstract design formed from the linear joints of the angled vertical panels and also a subtler effect created by linking the panels with frosted horizontal bands etched into the reverse side of the glass. The backlit glass shines and sparkles where light is refracted on the edges of the crazing but is gently diffused where the glass surface has been frosted. |
