| Abstract | The Kwong Wah Hospital and Wong Tai Sin Hospital have designed and adopted a formal Drug Sample Policy since October 1991. The Policy has been found to be helpful in the proper control and efficient utilisation of drug samples in the Hospitals. The Policy is also written into their Guidelines on Drug Administration Procedures. The artical presents a description of the Policy with the rationale behind its design, the problems one faced when there was no policy and how the situation has improved with the implementation of the Policy. |
