| Abstract | On April 1, unleaded petrol will become available at all filling stations in Hong Kong. This is perhaps an appropriate date. It underscores all the confusion the topic has generated in the minds of motorists. Is it suitable for my car? Will it damage the motor? Why the change? What do I need to do to convert? Will it be costly? These and many more questions have been asked and answered with varying degrees of accuracy and it is because of this that a lot of people do not understand why the introduction of unleaded petrol (ULP) is taking place at all. |
