| Abstract | The article aims at analysing the process of urban renewal in World Cities under the light of globalisation, as well as the increase in competition among them. It presents some of the main urban renewal proposals in World Cities with special emphasis to the cast study of Sao Paulo. The main objective is to suggest to what extent this process of urban renewal is related to the globalisation phenomena. Through it, the article aims at showing the different dimensions of urban renewal in developed and developing World Cities. |
