| Abstract | The article reports on "Run for Life", an event which took place in Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong over the 3rd - 7th February 1999, involving a team of four people attempting to set a world record for running 1,000 kilometers on a treadmill. The objective of the event was to raise the profile of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) (SPCA) and its work, in addition to earning funds for the Society through sponsorship. |
