| Abstract | Phone manufacturers, always prowling for whizzy features to distinguish their products, are creating a new generation of blowers that can link up to the Internet. Some, like Samsung's Web Video Phone now under development, plug into household phone jacks and offer a scaled-down surfing alternative to personal computers (PCs). And because anything worth doing is apparently worth doing on the road, Internet-enabled mobile phones are coming to market. The article introduces the Internet-enabled mobile phones and features some problems the product faced. The situation in Hong Kong is covered. |
