AbstractDespite the financial crisis, Asia Pacific should still continue to be the most important region for shipping growth in the longer term. Led by the United States, the next cyclical upswing should also encompass the key Asia Pacific trade generating economies allowing the region to resume its role as the primary source of incremental seaborne oil and dry bulk trade.
