| Abstract | After 40 years' effort, China has nurtured its broadcast and television (TV) network into a strategic information resource of considerable scope. A nationwide transmission network forms, constituting of wireless, wireline, microwave, satellite and other technologies. The article talks about the development strategy and target of the TV network, including measures to enlarge the coverage of the central and provincial broadcast and TV, speed up intenetworking with practical and efficient measures, optimize frequency resource distribution and improve program quality, exploit and utilize program and information resources, rely on technological advancement to tap the potential of cable TV network, as well as reinforce management and promote healthy development. |
