| Abstract | The reform of foreign exchange management system had a sharp progress to unify the various foreign exchange rates in 1994. To quicken the process for the Renminbi (RMB) to be able to exchange with foreign currencies for the normal business projects and improve the operation environment for foreign-invested enterprises and offer foreign-invested enterprises the status quo of the home companies, the State Council approved Chinese banks to settle accounts of and sell foreign exchanges to foreign-invested enterprises since 1 July 1996. The main contents of the exchange settlement and selling system of banks are featured in the article. |
