| Abstract | The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK) issue a report on 24 February 1998 on the conclusions reached from a consultation paper on large-scale, multi-jurisdictional initial public offerings (IPOs) involving both a public subscription tranche and a placing tranche. The consultation paper, issued on 25 June 1997, was the result of a review of the Joint Policy Statement on Offer Mechanisms by the SFC and the Exchange. The article provides a copy of the joint announcement outlining the results of the consultation. |
