| Abstract | Han Songlin, was the director of the International Communications Division of the Directorate General of Telecommunications (now China Telecom) of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPT) and is currently Deputy Director of China Telecom, gives in the article a review of international telecommunications in China, including change of network structure and rise of operation efficiency and the improvement of international telecom service quality. It also features the strategies and targets of China Telecom for 2000, such as expansion of international telecom network, strengthening the international network management and a new stage of international telecom service quality. |
