| Abstract | About 48 percent of the world's total emissions of man-made carbon dioxide comes from Asia. Any international effort to fight global warming, therefore, cannot succeed without the active co-operation of the Asian region's countries, especially China. The article features the plans of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), China and other Asian countries to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. |
