| Abstract | The concept of supported employment is to provide jobs for the pre-mentally ill and the mentally disadvantaged in sheltered workshops during their rehabilitation. The workshops under the Mental Health Association in Hong Kong have extended their services to outdoor cleaning and banner production, more than simple packaging or assembling. The article features the new projects run in the workshops, the benefits of the workshops to the workers, and the employers's comments on the workers' job performance. |
