| Abstract | While clothes change seemingly at whim, the stylish women of yesteryear -- women who embodied a particular look or represented the mood of the time -- live on in the public imagination. Hollywood legends such as Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly become fashion inspirations, encouraging generations of women to dress with elegance, glamour and poise.
