| Abstract | With the increasing use of prostheses, it is highly probable that fractures of the femur with total knee arthroplasty (TKA) will occur more frequently. The article reports on the materials, methods and results of a study, which reviews the literature and present the indication, technique and treatment outcome of supracondylar femoral fractures following TKA at Mackay Memorial Hospital in Taipei from 1984 to 1995. |
