| Abstract | In a community setting , over-the-counter medications (OTC's) may be recommended to a patient after counselling. It is important to know if the customer is also taking any other medication, because drug-drug interaction with OTC's is possible to occur. The result of a drug-drug interaction can alter the patient's response to therapy. Some possible drug-drug interaction with the Part II Poisons or Non-poisons available in the Hong Kong Market is listed in this article. |
