| Abstract | The Ministry of Railway (MOR) spokesperson said that the ministry would establish a multi-layered transmission network based on optic-fiber cable and supplemented by microwave and satellite communications systems. The plan involves the laying of 9,028 kilometers optic-fiber cable and construction of 6,100 kilometers of digital microwave links. Cable, optic-fiber cable and microwave links will cover 60.46% of the operational railways. |
