It is learned that in the future development of Guangdong's mobile communications, the analog networks will be improved further while GSM (global system for mobile communications) digital network will be given the priority and new technologies will be imported actively. The 13th expansion of the analog networks scheduled in 1996 will aim at filling up blanks and improving coverage. Once the capacity reaches 290,000 subscribers, the analog networks will not be expanded anymore and emphasis will be switched to network management and network optimization. |
