| Abstract | South China Morning Post editor Jonathan Fenby has recently been on the receiving end of the kind of flak editors are more accustomed to dishing out to public figures. He has been challenged to identify the reasons why he now faces a founding editor of the China Daily, who's been hired as a consultant, through the glass facing the office next door. The consultant, Fen Xiliang, also worked for the now-defunct Window, a pro-China weekly published here - as did a number of the journalists hired to work the Post's China Desk and in other areas.
