| Abstract | John Porter introduced the Hong Kong Policy Act in the United States Congress in 1992, establishing the basis for further US-SAR relations. In September 1996, he proposed legislation to provide special immigrant status for 1,500 journalists working in Hong Kong. He led a Congressional delegation to Hong Kong recently. In this article, Porters talks about Most Favoured Nation (MFN) for China and his legislation for Hong Kong. |
