| Abstract | Large food poisoning outbreaks are not uncommon in Hong Kong and many of these have been caused by improper food hygiene practices. The Department of Health (DH), the Urban Services Department (USD) and the Regional Services Department (RSD) work closely together to investigate such outbreaks and implement control measures to prevent further occurrences. The large food poisoning outbreak described in this article illustrates the sequence of events and steps taken following notification. |
