| Abstract | This is an abstract of a paper which examines the renal DA (dopamine) status and sympathetic nervous system activity in hypertensive patients in relation to their urinary sodium (Na) excretion and blood pressure as well as the interactions between their dopaminergic and sympathetic nervous systems, twenty-four-hour urinary excretions of free DA, noradrenaline (NA) and Na were measured simultaneously in 124 Hong Kong Chinese mild hypertnesive patients and 110 age and sex matched normal subjects. |
