| Abstract | To evaluate the impact of hypertension on the development of carotid atherosclerosis in the Chinese, B-mode ultrasonography of carotid arteries was performed on 52 hypertensive patients without clinical evidence of coronary artery disease (CAD), and on a group of 52 CAD patients without hypertension, matching for age and sex. |
