| Abstract | For many people, the thought of violence and sex triggers the image of rape. Some people believe that rapists are perverts : they are eccentric and dull, look fierce and cruel, sick and lustful. In contrast, men who visit prostitutes are often seen as healthy people who spend money to satisfy their sexual desire in a normal way. There are many problems with this dichotomy of rape and prostitution. |
