| Abstract | Professor George Woo, a distinguished academic in optometry, took over as the Polytechnic University's Chair of Optometry and Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Studies on January 2, 1997. Unfolding the future development plans of his Faculty, Professor Woo said: "One of my first tasks is to consolidate and strengthen our working relationship with the Hospital Authority, with a view of securing more clinical training opportunities in major hospitals for our undergraduates." |
