| Abstract | Peter Cass, CEO and president of the Preferred Hotels and Resorts , says he expects to add a further five to eight hotels to the organisation - all in Asia. This is because of phenomenal growth expected in the region. The only member of Preferred now in China is The Palace Beijing, owned by HK-based Peninsula Group. Now Cass says, they are actively looking at properties in Shanghai. They are also eyeing possibilities in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Bangkok. |
